FAQs

I’m not fit, I don’t workout, etc... Can I still do Krav?

Of course you can. From its inception, Krav has been for EVERYONE, regardless of age, body type, gender, sexual orientation, race… If you want to learn how to defend yourself, then come.

Do I need any previous martial arts experience?

Nope.

Will I get injured?

All Level 1 (beginner level) instructors certified through Krav Maga Worldwide learn the importance of safety in training. That said, like any activity—from basketball to basket weaving—training in Krav does come with risks. While we do our best to avoid injuries, sometimes sh*t happens =(

That said, I’ve still encouraged students to come back while in a boot or on crutches, and I modify the lesson to their situation, because attackers won’t care if you’re injured. So, you better stay prepared.

What’s the youngest student you teach?

In a class setting, I teach ages 16 and up.

For private lessons, I teach from around 5 and up. If I’m teaching kids, then I encourage their parents to be present so they can see and hear what I’m teaching and reinforce certain principles outside of lessons.
